Description
The beautiful Yaquina Head Light on a rainy night. There's a warm glow of lights from the beacon on top and the windows of the lighthouse and the keeper's cottage at its base. The 19th century historic light was first lit in 1873. It's been an automated light since 1966 but is still an active navigational aid situated in the Yaquina Head Outstanding Natural Area on Yaquina Head near Newport, Oregon.
