Description
I would love to revisit my walks along the River Liffey again some day in spring or summer, or perhaps even fall. I'm sure it would look at once familiar and entirely different from my month in winter spent in Ireland. But winter possesses its own beauty and positive attributes!
And whenever I admire architecture in winter, I'm reminded of a tour guide in London one winter several years ago that showed us some of the details of the buildings there that we'd have never seen when the trees were full with leaves. That was when I took on a new level of appreciation for the difference in the seasons. As a rule, I've never been someone who traveled for beach weather anyway.
And so it is I'm sure that a view of Inns Quay on the River Liffey in Dublin in summer is different, but would you be able to appreciate all the details of the Neoclassical architecture of the Four Courts building? Even looking at the bare trees now and imagining their leaves, I'm sure some of those details would be obscured, so I appreciate it even more!
