Description
I know Fire Hydrants are often color-coded to indicate how much water pressure and flow and such there is at that particular hydrant. But when I saw this brightly colored yellow fire hydrant on a side street in downtown Asheville, I couldn't help thinking the color choices were at least in part due to the vibrant local arts scene in Asheville.
Whatever the case, whether the color choice was entirely utilitarian or artistic, in that late afternoon sun, the rich colors looked beautiful against the backdrop of Asheville's beautiful downtown streets.
