Product Details

Our greeting cards are 5" x 7" in size and are produced on digital offset printers using 100 lb. paper stock. Each card is coated with a UV protectant on the outside surface which produces a semi-gloss finish. The inside of each card has a matte white finish and can be customized with your own message up to 500 characters in length. Each card comes with a white envelope for mailing or gift giving.

Artist's Description

The first cathedral in San Cristobal de Las Cas was apparently built in 1545, but the beautiful baroque architecture we see today is from a rebuilding of the church in the 18th century. I wonder if that explains the cheerful colors? The bulk of the cathedrals I've seen in Mexico tended to be imposing stone structures. Plenty of churches with colorful facades, but this is among only a few cathedrals I've stumbled upon in Mexico wearing bright colors!

But it seemed to fit colorful San Cristobal de Las Casas. I've said before and will say many times that it seemed like a haven for expatriates from around the world in concert with the local inhabitants. A very different vibe existed in this city in Chiapas for sure!
