Artist's Description

It's funny how sometimes the best parts of a trip are the ones for which we had no expectations. I had never heard of the Cascadas de Misol Ha before. I had no expectation at all that it would be so beautiful both from a distance as seen here or up close walking behind those magnificent waterfalls.

Yet, years later when I look back on my time in Chiapas, these large waterfalls still stand our strong in my memory.

If you need a sense of scale, look at the lower margin of the basin front of the falls and you will see people who were out swimming and enjoying the beautiful natural splendor.

Sometimes nature has a way of making us feel so small, eh?

Whether you've purchased one piece or a house full or you simply admire and share with your friends, your patronage of my art is...
