My first week spent in beautiful Galway, Ireland, was punctuated by foggy nights, but the last night before the fog broke was the most intense. On that day, the fog of the night before never cleared and as night wrapped the city once more, it just intensified.
On one hand, it was cold and damp, but the ethereal nature of photos in the fog kept me wandering those streets, and, as I hope you see, I think it was worthwhile!
I just love the mysterious feel to this street scene from Galway. I love the way the street lamps look in the deep fog and the quiet that seems to envelop one just looking at the picture.
