On my so far only foray to the city of Savannah, I didn't spend as much time roaming on my own two feet as I would like to some day. I saw the highlights from a trolley tour, but when I saw this beautiful cobblestone street I had to get out and stretch my legs. I loved the feeling of Savannah here. It was here I really felt the connection with the sea. In the Savannah river just beyond East River Street, one could watch massive ships coming to port. And this row of old Cotton Warehouses are further testament. This is where Cotton used to come to leave Georgia's port.

Now the store fronts are more a haven for tourists and weekend fun in the city but I still felt like I was in a genuinely old and world-connected city wandering along East River Street in Savannah.

Life is full of happy surprises. After just over a decade working in the 9 to 5 cube world, I threw caution to the wind to follow my dreams of being a full time visual artist. That was five years ago! Is it easy? No, but something truly worthwhile is rarely simple. My body of work is wide ranging from photographic scenes of far away places, more near and dear locations, and more fanciful artwork. It's all crafted with a heartfelt love for finding the beauty in little captured moments. My artwork also hangs on walls near and far from private homes to businesses who have chosen to decorate with my art.
