My time inside the Louvre was very much my time to enjoy the art of cultures past and present around the world. It as not an opportunity to pass by. But there's still my own eyes at work always, and when I spotted this scene in a gallery in the Louvre, I had to stop to capture it. I loved the diffuse light coming through the room and the people in motion, the peopl observing all the art on the walls, just the general sense of life...
Very much a familiar scene to those who have wandered the long halls of any museum but particularly so for those of who have stood before wall after wall of art through the ages.... Quite overpowering!

Life is full of happy surprises. After just over a decade working in the 9 to 5 cube world, I threw caution to the wind to follow my dreams of being a full time visual artist.
