Artist's Description

The Chapel of Memories at Mississippi State University was completed in 1965. But the bricks of the building are much older. Every brick in the chapel was re-used from the Old Main dormitory that burned in 1959. The interdenominational chapel is a favorite site for weddings as well as funerals, receptions, and other functions. The architectural style is modern but there's much about the towering edifice that reminds me of classic cathedrals reaching into the heavens.
