Product Details

Our greeting cards are 5" x 7" in size and are produced on digital offset printers using 100 lb. paper stock. Each card is coated with a UV protectant on the outside surface which produces a semi-gloss finish. The inside of each card has a matte white finish and can be customized with your own message up to 500 characters in length. Each card comes with a white envelope for mailing or gift giving.

Artist's Description

I will always have a soft spot for cities and towns that retain a sense of their history and place. This is especially hard for cities that are consumed by larger metropolitan areas. Such was the case with Roswell, Georgia. By the time I lived in the area, Roswell was surrounded by suburbia, but wandering the streets of its historic core, it still felt like a small community.

And likewise, there was still civic pride in that history. One of my favorite areas to walk in Roswell was the walking trails that surrounded Vickery Creek. The area was littered with ruins of an old mill complex that dated back to Roswell's founding and included a chapter in the American Civil War when the mill was torched by Union troops.

There's not a lot of the old mill complex left today but as you can see, Roswell is serious about retaining the physical remains of its history. Although I photographed this lone building from the Roswell Mill complex several times, this autumn photo of it was my...
