I always try to be in the moment when traveling, but there are some places that just make that easier! The beautiful landscapes of Costa Rica were definitely on that list!
My first full day of travel in Costa Rica found me enjoying the end of the day on the aptly named Playa Hermosa in the Guanacaste province of Costa Rica. It was truly hard to believe it was winter and that I had just been wearing a coat only days before standing on that beautiful Pacific beach!
As the sun sank on the horizon, the skies turned a lovely golden hue and the waters seemed to deepen in their blue colors. I spotted this trio of women in the water, enjoying being in the moment as much as I was from the beach. I thought their silhouettes against the seascape quite eye-catching. In a fanciful way, they almost reminded me of sirens of the sea. But it's hard to imagine anyone resisting being lured to this Costa Rican beach!
