Description
I've long had a version of this in my print collection that showed this statue of Sir Winston Churchill in Juxtaposition to the great clock tower at Parliament, known informally to many as Big Ben. Officially the tower is the Elizabeth II tower. And the title of that work has always been Never Surrender because there was something about that figure of Churchill looming larger than life in front of that iconic clock tower that reminded me of one of his most well known quotes in his speeches during WWII.
Along the way I've had a handful of requests from people that wanted the quote embedded in the image. And well, the base of the statue does offer abundant room. Typically I've made it available on request but decided to simply add it to my print collection. So, if you'd like the original version without the quote, be aware it is available that way as well.
