Description
Without a doubt, one of my favorite memories of my first trip to New York City was standing across from Manhattan and seeing the view that folks in Brooklyn get of Manhattan.
You'll forgive me for saying that it's after the lights come on that the city really shines. Oh, the massive buildings, rows of towering skyscrapers, etc. are all quite awe-inspiring in the daylight, but it's at night that I look at the city lights and I'm immediately stuck grinning ear to ear at the sparkling twinkling beauty of it.
This photo was taken near dusk from one of the parks near the famous Brooklyn Bridge, which, of course, is the lit up suspension bridge stretching across the river. It practically appears to be wearing a strand of Christmas lights in this photo, doesn't it?
