The skies over Boston Harbor on my first visit there were just fantastic. I really couldn't have asked for more dramatic or picturesque skies. Of course, I am partial to cloud streaked skies versus clear ones any day!

To combine that with beautiful sunlight was just the icing on the cake, and sure enough as the sun set on Boston, I looked to the east, away from the setting sun itself and the light was perfect. Look at the great golden glow and of course the incredible reflections in the waters of this little marina on the waterfront!

I feel so serene every time I look at this photo. I feel like that beautiful boat is floating on the sky the way it's reflecting with such calm water below. Serenity... ahhh...

If and when I make it to Boston again on a late summer day, you can be sure I'll be down on the waterfront at sunset again. What a beautiful and relaxing way to capture the end of the day!
