The afternoon we arrived in Puebla de Zaragoza we were told that one of the things Puebla was known for was sweets, in particular camotes. While this photo wasn't taken on the 'street of sweets' I was amused that the shop on the corner has a sign that reads 'Dulces Tipico San Jeronimo." San Jeronimo is the nearest church. But it wasn't the candy of Puebla that drew me to this scene. There was just something about the vibrant green of that building, the symmetrical architecture and the hum of life on that corner in Puebla that attracted me. Doesn't that green look cheerful? And the contrast with the blue sky is just outstanding.

I stood across from that corner store for quite awhile. In fact, I left and came back. There was a comical scene with a family trying to load some furniture in their car that while entertaining wasn't what I was looking for in a picture of this beautiful Puebla street scene.
