Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. There's something magical about lone trees. I don't know if it's because for some of us it appeals to the loner or the individualist or if the roots of our love for trees is tied to the mythic tree of life. But there is something about a one tree in a landscape lifting its branches to the sky that is ethereal. And it's why I not only enjoy art featuring that subject, I enjoy depicting them as well.
