Description
As interesting as the ancient stone circle of Avebury was, it was also a beautiful peek at life in the English countryside. The words pastoral and bucolic kept coming to mind as I watched sheep graze in the fields that surrounded the Wiltshire village.
This was one such moment. In the foreground disinterested sheep graze happily in the green grasses and in the distance the houses of the little village overlook the pasture. This is almost a timeless peek at country village life in Great Britain. It's easy to imagine this would have looked much the same a hundred years ago as it does today!
No doubt about it, Avebury is amazing, but I loved the whole package there!
