I have to admit that anyone who regularly follows my work would find this piece entirely out of character, but I have long had a bit of fascination with images that represent the form of something without any clarity.
In this case, we have the rolling hills of Scotland on a cold winter morning. I believe this was somewhere near Inverness, but of that I'm not even certain! Definitely the already beautiful highlands.
But I wanted to emphasize the cloud-streaked skies, the undulating terrain, but without all the detail, just the shape and the predominant gold and blue colors from that Highland winter morning.
Although even my photo art leans more towards reality than fantasy, I have to say that this one speaks to me. Heck it asked for me to create it in the first place and I had to listen to it. The result, I find soft and soothing. I hope you do, too!
