Artist's Description
Savannah is one of those cities that just drips in charm and has an old world settled quality to it. Take the buildings that line River Street. Most of these old buildings were warehouses or somehow related to the cotton trade that once passed through the port of Savannah. Today, walkways along River Street are far more likely to be crowded with travelers who have come to experience Savannah for themselves.
River Street is also the place where you have the chance to experience a classic streetcar. Savannah is in the process of trying to bring back this feature to more of the city but for the moment, the lone heritage streetcar route is here. Re-opened in 2009, it features a real vintage streetcar "Dottie" which was purchased from Melbourne, Australia.

About Mark Tisdale

My artwork also hangs on walls near and far from private homes to businesses who have chosen to decorate with my art. Whether you've purchased one piece or a house full or you simply admire and share with your friends, your patronage of my art is...
