There will always be something pretty zen about a day at the beach for me. I think there are some of us that simply resonate with the seaside, don't you agree?
This little piece of tropical paradise calls me often and I hope to one day answer the call again to return at least for a visit to the beautiful Pacific coast of Nicaragua. San Juan del Sur, to be precise, was a surprisingly beautiful and tranquil little mix of expats and locals. This little beach was once home to a fishing community but for the past decade or two, it has gradually become a tiny tourist haven.
Don't those beach hut restaurants with an oceanfront view look like a tranquil place to relax. I hope this image conveys that fact because I can assure you, it was an incredibly beautiful piece of beach to call home if only for a couple of days.
