Product Details

Our greeting cards are 5" x 7" in size and are produced on digital offset printers using 100 lb. paper stock. Each card is coated with a UV protectant on the outside surface which produces a semi-gloss finish. The inside of each card has a matte white finish and can be customized with your own message up to 500 characters in length. Each card comes with a white envelope for mailing or gift giving.

Artist's Description

The little village of Lacock today has a good tourist trade and is often used in period historical dramas (the ones for which the British are so well known). But it's no coincidence how often these well preserved little English villages have a history of a past rise and fall. In the case of Lacock the village prospered while the English wool trade was a success story. With it' sdecline, the prosperous village became a sleepy place. The outside world modernized and left little Lacock behind. And now today, it's become a well-preserved peek at the past, a curiosity.

And that past prosperity also explains how a little English village has such a grand medieval church! As beautiful and sleepy as the village was, I have to admit I was surprised when I rounded the corner and saw this beautiful church steeple reaching into the picturesque skies above Wiltshire! Wow!
