It didn't take me long to fall in love with Galway and on that last night in the city, I had to take one last stroll through the city, including the High Street in the city center. It was the middle of the week in winter but, as you can see, there was still a hum of life on the streets outside Murphy's Bar. Apparently this Irish Pub is one of the oldest and most locally authentic in Galway.
There was a little twinge of sadness as I said goodbye (hopefully not for the last time) to Galway but I can't help looking at the body of artwork I created featuring the city and feeling warm and happy again. If you've been or hail from there, I have no doubt you understand that feeling!
