Artist's Description

Atlanta is a city that's grown by leaps and bounds in the past decades so it's always nice to discover there's a little bit of "old Atlanta" still there. One such place is Mary Mac's Tea Room opened in 1945 by Mary MacKenzie. The restaurant is famous for its southern cooking and a menu that would still be familiar to the original owner.

The restaurant was mentioned in an episode of Designing Women where Julia Sugarbaker (Dixie Carter) suggested that good photos for an article about the ladies of Atlanta would include "The Blue-haired ladies that play Bridge over at Mary Mac's Tea Room."

Whether you've purchased one piece or a house full or you simply admire and share with your friends, your patronage of my art is...
