I'm not sure of the exact age of the water tower but it's specifically listed on the application for our historic district in 2003. And I've seen old postcards from near the turn of the century which show other similar water towers in downtown from the same era. Whatever the age, it's a charming example of yesteryear and a landmark for locals!
