I'm going to have to admit that I knew there was a movie with the same title as this piece but it was only after I was pretty far along working on it that I looked up the history of the movie. So there's really only the title connecting them - I just loved the mental image the title gave me of a couple's last night beneath the stars in Paris. A far cry from the classic but racy Bertolucci film!
