I always have a hard time choosing favorites amongst my own work, but this one from New York City is definitely high on my personal list.
The photo this graphic piece of photo-art was based on was taken from the top of a night time tour bus in New York City. I couldn't begin to tell you where it was taken but if someone ever recognizes the place, I'd love to know! However, I know it's somewhere in Manhattan in the real world and Gotham in my heart.
The moment I saw the warm light from those windows and the dark shadows on the adjacent rooftop, I knew I had to take this image - thank goodness the bus stopped at a light! It reminded me very much of a frame from a graphic novel or comic. It just has that film noir graphic feel going for it.
