Whenever I look back on my pictures form this little beach in the Guanacaste province of Costa Rica, I'm at a loss for words. It was just a gorgeous place and a brilliant way to end a day of travel!
This little piece of paradise is the aptly named Playa Hermosa which translates more or less to beautiful beach. But I also think this little spot perfectly fits the de facto motto of Costa Rica, Pura Vida! If this isn't the good life, what is?
This golden moment is a Pacific coast sunset. The sun is sinking beyond the horizon and it's colored almost the entire scene in hues of gold and orange.There's just a hint of blue left in the ocean waters if one hunts for it, but the theme is definitely warmth in that brilliant bit of last daylight!
In the foreground, I love the silhouettes of the women wading in the surf and the smaller silhouettes of swimmers in the distance. It really paints a picture doesn't it?
