Description
A good part of my first week in Galway was marked by a nightly fog that would burn off in the morning hours, but on the last day before the fog broke, the mists clung to everything throughout the day until by night, the world of Galway was wrapped in a pea soup.
Such was what I saw when I stood before the beautiful cathedral in Galway. It was barely possible to even see the dome on top of the church! But it made for some incredibly atmospheric photos, no pun intended. This piece of textured photo art was based on one of those pictures. I love the ethereal feeling where even a solid and large building feels as if it might evaporate into the fog at any moment. And take a few steps back and it shall!
