Artist's Description

Artwork based on a vintage black and white photo taken for the Historic American Building Survey for the US Government. This fragment of old Atlanta is the former Equitable Building that once stood in a now open plaza in front of the Trust Company Bank Building on Edgewood Avenue. It was razed in 1971 after the new bank building was completed.

There was something to me haunting about that lost piece of Atlanta and the result you can see here, a fleeting dream...
