Fiery Sunset Farewell - Lake Nicaragua Landscape Canvas Print

Our last sunset in Nicaragua was easily one of the best I've seen anywhere, and I think you can see why!

I've gotten fairly good at anticipating good sunsets. When the skies have the right amount of clouds for a bit of texture but not so overcast that the sun won't make an appearance, but even then there's a big game of chance. Will you be there when the light makes its appearance? And it could be a quite brief appearance at that!

All day I had watched the clouds over the lake gather. And it was a portent to a rainy morning departure but I think this sunset was worth it. It was the very definition of fiery with a great golden orange streaked sky above the peaceful waters of Lake Nicaragua.

What a sendoff!

Life is full of happy surprises. After just over a decade working in the 9 to 5 cube world, I threw caution to the wind to follow my dreams of being a full time visual artist.
