Product Details

Our greeting cards are 5" x 7" in size and are produced on digital offset printers using 100 lb. paper stock. Each card is coated with a UV protectant on the outside surface which produces a semi-gloss finish. The inside of each card has a matte white finish and can be customized with your own message up to 500 characters in length. Each card comes with a white envelope for mailing or gift giving.

Artist's Description

One of my favorite places in Egypt was the simplest place we stayed, sleeping in straw huts on a Red Sea beach on the Gulf of Aqaba near Nuweiba. There was only the barest of luxuries, electricity for a short time in the evening, and it was an arid place with water trucked in. Yet, it felt like a slice of paradise to me. There was no option but to appreciate the gorgeous landscape and the opportunity to relax.

On my first morning, I got up to see the sunrise over the Red Sea and had the beach nearly to myself. I still look back on the stillness of these photos and it seems unreal, especially with those ethereal clouds. But it was so very real.

When I took this picture what most appealed to me was the texture in the sand, the hodgepodge of footprints going in every direction and the mountains rising out of the water.
