Description
The days in Scotland in the winter are notoriously short, but when the light is there, however short the day is, it's just beautiful in my opinion. And although it may mean watching dusk fall early in the afternoon, dusk is a beautiful time. Dusk blue is one of my favorite colors after all!
And such was the case when the last light was leaving the sky as we stood on the shores of the famous Loch Ness. I was dazzled by the blue in the sky and the reflected color in the waters of that deep loch. Being the dead of winter afforded me this beautiful view through the branches of a tree on the shores of the loch. I loved the structure they provided but that they didn't otherwise obscure the beautiful colors of the sky, complete with just a hint of gold as one looks closer to the horizon.
Although I hope I might see Loch Ness again one day, I'm so satisfied with that one beautiful moment there that it's more a desire to relive a fun trip than a deep desire to photograph it further. Of course, we all know if I went back my camera would be with me. I'm just not sure what vista would compare to this one.
