Artist's Description

The Denny Chimes are one of the more visible landmarks on the campus of the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa. Constructed in the Art Deco style, it stands on the south side of the Quad. The idea of building a campanille or bell tower was originally discussed as a memorial following World War I but it was some years later before the funds were raised to construct it. It was completed and dedicated in 1929.

Painted in watercolor and acrylic paint then scanned in where the final detail work was done in Corel. To see more of my work from Alabama and beyond be sure to check out tisdaleart.com

That was five years ago! Is it easy? No, but something truly worthwhile is rarely simple. It's all crafted with a heartfelt love for finding the beauty in little captured moments. My artwork also hangs on walls near and far from private homes to businesses who have chosen to decorate with my art. Whether you've purchased one piece or a house full or you simply admire and share with your friends, your patronage of my art is...
