Artist's Description

Denny Chimes - the bell tower on the campus of the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa is a landmark. It was built on the south side of the quad in the 1920's. Although it took a number of years to accomplish, the idea to build the bell tower came about at the end of the first world war as a way to honor the dead.

Painted in watercolor and acrylic paint - then scanned in and detail work done in corel.
