After I did my "Star Child" image a few weeks ago, the idea popped into my head that I should do one featuring the moon. There's something truly mythic about the moon rising over the horizon. It fascinated our ancient ancestors and even today people will rush outside to see any variation on the theme of "super moons" so it was a beautiful subject waiting for full inspiration to form.

This is how the "Daughter of the Moon" was born - a celebration of our nearest celestial neighbor.
