Artist's Description

I'm at a slight loss for exactly what style of architecture this quaint cottage is. At first blush I would say it was English Cottage style. It has the steep roof, gables, and asymmetrical style, but the front door and pediment above it looks like the a Federal style. I think it may be a mixture of styles from the early 20th century.

The setting suggests a clearing in the forest but this is based on a home on an established tree-lined street in my own hometown, Montezuma, Georgia.
