Description
There's something very zen about this moment for me, not just for the scene but my part, however abstract.
For me, wandering with my camera is the ultimate in contemplation, particularly sunrise walks. The mornings are so quiet and still, and when I have my camera, the world becomes my canvas. I can take any scene around me and capture it, present it, illustrating life quite literally.
The zen part of this sunrise on the Chattahoochee River near Roswell is that the lady sitting silhouetted on that bench appears to be in a contemplative mood of her own. Gazing out at the beautiful dawn and lost in a world of her own.
Of course, I have no idea what she was thinking, so perhaps I'm infusing my own outlook into the moment, but I love the circular thought that I am contemplating life with my image of this unknown woman contemplating life.
Either way, I loved the golden light that I found along the Chattahoochee River more than once during my years living nearby. So beautiful...
