Artist's Description
This artwork features the Cape St. George Light. The 153 year old lighthouse fell into the ocean in 2005 and was rebuilt using as much salvaged brick from the original as possible where it stands today in the middle of a park on St. George Island near Apalachicola, Florida.
The subject for this lighthouse art was suggested by a friend who visits the island regularly. Do you also visit St. George Island often or do you just love lighthouses in general?
