Description
It seems every little town has some piece of architecture that is the de facto symbol of that town. In my home town, there are many lovely old buildings, but I think our old train depot is that single piece of architecture that means "home" to so many people from here.
Built in 1890 to replace a previous depot, it originally served the Central of Georgia Railroad. During my childhood, the depot housed the local police station, but has been restored and now houses Macon County's Museum.
This is my take on a starry night over that beautiful old depot.
