There's just something about sailboats and sailing that screams about happy times! This one on Lake Michigan with the Chicago Harbor Light in the background appears to have a father and child out enjoying a beautiful day together.
It was a pleasant spring day when I got to wander the Chicago waterfront for the first, and so far only, time. What I saw and experienced on the shores of Lake Michigan suggests you'd see a lot more of me there if I was in Chicago on a longer term basis!
After all, sailboats and lighthouses, who could ask for more?
