Artist's Description

One day during my final week in Atlanta, I took a massive ramble down Peachtree Street - walking most of it, but no, not all the way out to Peachtree Road in Buckhead.

Nevertheless, I knew I had to go see the PInnacle one more time before leaving. During my first couple of years in Atlanta, I lived near Buckhead and this beautiful tower was one of my first landmarks. Years later, I still think the design of the roof on this building is absolutely fascinating and I love the way the glass skyscraper reflects the sky.

When I came to Atlanta, the Pinnacle was practically alone in standing out above the Buckhead skyline, but by the time I left it was one of many towers, but it remains my personal favorite rising above the endless length of Peachtree.

About Mark Tisdale

Mark Tisdale

Life is full of happy surprises. After just over a decade working in the 9 to 5 cube world, I threw caution to the wind to follow my dreams of being a full time visual artist. That was five years ago! Is it easy? No, but something truly worthwhile is rarely simple. My body of work is wide ranging from photographic scenes of far away places, more near and dear locations, and more fanciful artwork. It's all crafted with a heartfelt love for finding the beauty in little captured moments. My artwork also hangs on walls near and far from private homes to businesses who have chosen to decorate with my art. Whether you've purchased one piece or a house full or you simply admire and share with your friends, your patronage of my art is...
