Product Details

Our greeting cards are 5" x 7" in size and are produced on digital offset printers using 100 lb. paper stock. Each card is coated with a UV protectant on the outside surface which produces a semi-gloss finish. The inside of each card has a matte white finish and can be customized with your own message up to 500 characters in length. Each card comes with a white envelope for mailing or gift giving.

Artist's Description

You often hear that eyes are the windows to the soul, and I always wonder where doors fit into that scenario. Windows let one see in but a door, a door is a passage way. You enter and exit through doors. And quite often, the front door of a house is its best feature.

I found this to be especially true in colonial houses like those found in Merida's historic core. The side of these houses that face the street are often bare in architectural details. There will be a door and maybe a handful of windows, but the interior of the home really faces an interior courtyard unseen from the street. An architectural choice for safety or privacy? I'm not sure, but when there are even fewer details to show the world outside, the ones that do show become so much more.
